“After 12 years in D.C. of just raising taxes and spending taxpayers’ money, it is time for Chris Murphy to learn what it is like to earn a day’s wages,” Corey said in a statement.

Murphy’s campaign received the email Friday morning, said spokesperson Laura Maloney. Murphy had two previously scheduled events Friday.

Corey, a Manchester resident, has owned a window washing business for more than two decades. He says he has dangled off the side of nearly every skyscraper in Hartford with his crews.
